You must be on time to your first day of lecture and lab. I will be dropping any students who are not in attendance by the time I have finished my introductory statements (8:30a) and giving their seat to a student off the waitlist. If you end up running late ✨please email me before the start of class✨. I keep my email open during the first meeting for this reason. While I cannot guarantee this will save you a seat (it really depends how late you are) I will do my best to work with students who reach out to me.
You are welcome to purchase an electronic version of the textbook, to rent or purchase the book from the bookstore, or to borrow the textbook from the library (Newtons texts are consumable and not available to borrow from library). The textbook is currently on Amazon to purchase new/used/e-book. You do not need the access code, so used books are great. Save a tree! 🌳

In order to participate fully in this class, you will need consistent, reliable access to Canvas and the ability to use various apps (Zoom, Discord, etc.), some of which require you to set up an account (free).
You will also need access to a computer with a webcam or a mobile phone with a video camera throughout the course (various assignments, office hours, etc.).
If you attend Day 1 and are wondering if this class is right for your schedule, I encourage you to come talk to me before you make any final decisions. I would love to chat one on one about your situation! However, if you decide not to move forward with the class I would really appreciate a notification via email or Canvas messages. This just helps me to get students in off the waitlist who would like to be enrolled.
